Cory is committed to providing a welcoming space in which clients can feel free to be honest about themselves, their struggles, and their questions. He believes that clients deserve to be understood holistically as physical, psychological, social, and spiritual beings and to be supported as they navigate the messy interplay between these dimensions of their lives. Cory finds joy in helping clients see themselves and their circumstances in a new light, find new ways of relating to the past, present, and future, and gain a greater sense of freedom and fulfillment in daily life.
Cory’s approach is rooted in the Relational Spirituality Model, an evidence-based model that has proven effective in enabling clients to explore their desires for meaning, identity, and connection. As its name suggests, the RSM also provides an accessible framework for Cory to express his commitment to take seriously the spiritual dimensions of his clients’ lives. Cory is also able to draw upon other therapeutic approaches when this serves his clients’ needs.
